Kit includes everything that is needed to get started. Just replace the piece in your soldering iron with the on from the kit and you are pretty much good to go. Make sure you keep the heat at just enough to melt the plastic otherwise the brass on the piece inside the soldering iron will turn silver, however that doesnt affect functionality. Would purchase again as kit is pretty well rounded. Would prefer to have more bigger sizes rather than a bunch of small ones but other than that is good

    These work great! I use them for 3D printed assemblies, mostly ASA. The solder tool is a bit to short for my iron, so it's rattles a little when moving around, still works fine. My soldering iron is a cheapo 鶹 one so the issue could be my iron, either way it's not a big enough issue to knock a star off. All the inserts I've used so far have had no issues with the threads.
